When the RxCut® Plus card information (RxGroup# and RxBin#) is entered into the pharmacy’s computer system, the price of the prescription is discounted based on the pharmacy’s agreement with RxCut® Plus. This type of cutting-edge technology allows for a seamless transaction process.

Unlike any other program, this card was designed to save you money if you have insurance. If you have insurance and are obtaining a generic show your insurance card to the pharmacy and if your cost is more than $10 present your free RxCut® Plus card and ask, ‘What’s my RxCut® Price?’ The cardholder is guaranteed the absolute lowest price at the pharmacy; either the cardholder’s insurance copay, the pharmacy retail price or the RxCut® Plus price. As an RxCut® Plus cardholder, you have access to the deepest discounted prescription prices available. Remember, with this card there are no deductibles, no fees, no paper work or forms to complete, everyone qualifies and it is completely free. This program covers your entire household and it is pre-activated and can be used immediately. How much will I save with the card?
Savings of up to 75% on Brand-Name and Generic medications. You will save an average of 7 times out of 10 over the pharmacy price. Take your prescription with your cards to a participating pharmacy and the pharmacist can tell you how much the medicine will cost with and without the use of the card.
What prescription medications are subject to discount with RxCut® Plus?
All FDA approved brand and generic prescription medications are covered.
Are there any age or enrollment restrictions?
No, everyone can enroll and benefit.
Can anyone use my card?

I am not a U.S. Citizen, can I use the card?
Yes, anyone may use the program if it is used at pharmacies within the U.S. and it's territories.
Does my doctor need to know about this card when writing my prescription?
No. This program will not affect the way you are cared for by your physician. You should, however, always consult with your doctor about saving money on prescription medications.
Do prices vary among participating pharmacies?

What if my pharmacist said the card would not save me any money or does not work?
As a RxCut® Plus cardholder, you are entitled to your benefit. Your pharmacist will not know what the card savings will be until the prescription is sent for pricing via the pharmacy’s computer. Ask the pharmacist or technician to enter the four numbers on the front of your RxCut® Plus card to ensure you get the absolute lowest price at the pharmacy. If your pharmacist refuses to process your card please report any concerns IMMEDIATELY to our customer service department at 1-800-808-1213. This number can also be found on the back of your card.
What if my pharmacist says that their Pharmacy Savings Card is better?
Chances are you have been told this while standing in one of the major chains. Please use our Pharmacy Price Search or call our customer service helpline at 1-800-808-1213, and they gladly assist you on the phone and direct you to a pharmacy with a significantly lower price than you are about to be charged.
I already have insurance that covers my prescription medications. How can this Prescription Savings Card benefit me?
If you have insurance and are obtaining a generic show your insurance card to the pharmacy and if your cost is more than $10 present your free RxCut® Plus card and ask, ‘What’s my RxCut® Price?’ The cardholder is guaranteed the absolute lowest price at the pharmacy; either the cardholder’s insurance copay, the pharmacy retail price or the RxCut® Plus Price. This program can also be used to obtain savings on prescription medications that are excluded by your insurance plan or are not covered because you have exceeded your insurance plan's maximum limits. In addition, if your insurance plan does not offer you a prescription benefits card and you are reimbursed after each transaction, you may be able to use the free RxCut® Plus card to lower your out-of-pocket expenses.
How do I find a participating pharmacy with the lowest cost to fill my prescription?
To find our best price on your medication, follow these nine easy steps:
- Enter the first few letters of the medication name you wish to price into the medication box. If you have a pill bottle the name will be listed on the label.
- Click Select next to the name that matches the medication you are searching.
- Click Select next to the proper dosage and strength. Please make sure this matches exactly as it will affect the price. If you have searched a brand medication the generic substitutes will also be shown.
- Enter the number of days your prescription is written for and the number of units you take each day. For package based medication you will be asked how many you need.
- Click Add this medication and quantity to my list.
- Repeat the steps above to add each of your medications to the list.
- Once all of your medications are added to the list enter your zip code or address at the top and click the search button.
- Your results will be displayed with the lowest cost pharmacy at the top. You can click the pharmacy info on the left or the pins on the map to see more detailed information including an itemized medication price list.
- If you would like to see additional pharmacy results use the Show drop down to select the number of pharmacies to display.
What if I change pharmacies?
If you’d like to use a different pharmacy, verify that it is part of our participating network and follow the steps above to receive your discount.
What if my pharmacy does not participate?
If your pharmacy is not participating in this program, but would like to enroll in our network, have the pharmacy call our customer service department at 1-800-808-1213.
How do I find a generic alternative to my medication?
Pharmacy Price Search results will show lower-priced alternatives, if available. Some medications may not have a generic alternative. You may need to contact your physician to write a different prescription for the less costly medication.
